  • Visiting Library Service – screened volunteers visit shut-ins in their home or seniors residence, delivering and returning reading/listening materials – inquire at the library to receive this service or to be a volunteer

  • Elevator to the second floor

Nipissing University and Georgian College

  • A partnership between Nipissing University,Georgian College and the Bracebridge Public Library provides students at the Muskoka Campuses with a collection of material geared to meet course requirements.
  • Nipissing and Georgian material can be located in the Bracebridge Public Library online catalogue. Two computer terminals, dedicated to the use of registered students of Nipissing University, provide access to the main campus catalogue and its electronic resources.

  • Due to these partnerships, this material may be borrowed as well by those who hold a valid Bracebridge Public Library card
  • Reference staff will provide in-depth assistance to Nipissing and Georgian students.

Writer-In-Residence

  • Melody Richardson, writer and literary dynamo has taken on the WIR duties at the Library.
  • She is applying her talents to organizing a series of readings, workshops and creative opportunities for writers in the area.
