Read to Succeed
- Grade four students participate in class
visits, a library tour, book talks and library themed game
- Registration for library card, incentives
for reading books, encouraged to use library on their own time
Forest of Reading
- Read from the Ontario Library Association's selected book list of Canadian authors and encouraged to vote for their favourites
- Reading levels divided into Blue Spruce
(grade K-3), Silver Birch (grade 4-6) and Red Maple (grade 7-8)
Readopoly
- Library version of the popular board game
Monopoly
- Self-paced game that encourages children to
read books on a wide variety of subjects
Youth Book Club
- all grade 7 and grade 8 students are welcome
- read selected book at your own pace and meet
for a fun book talk pizza party

- One hour programme for active three to five
year olds
